Big Venezuela: Returning To Sprints With Off Pace Trip To Improve.

While the outside is usually the faster part of the track, it is tough as a frontrunner to win with a five wide trip even with no pace pressure. This gelding has now set the pace in his last four dirt routes and the best he could finish was 3rd as he did today. He was 2nd in his last two sprints with a tracking trip and saving more ground early could help him show more stick in the late stages. Maybe the return to sprinting with an off the pace trip will help him move forward.
