Cliquish: Stylish Win After Trouble at the Start

Three year old filly for Phil D’Amato made start #2 on Sunday in an optional claimer/maiden race at ¾ on the main for three year olds. Off as the 6/5 choice in a field of 7, the ground appeared to break from under her at the start and she was away last. Seven lengths back of the leader by the half mile pole, she quickly made up ground with a huge move at the 3/8 pole, got the lead at the top of the lane, and cruised on home under a hand ride to win by 10. It was a stylish win for this daughter of Bernardini and she appears to have a bright future.
