Necromancer: Likely Ridden Too Aggressively Here

Broke slowly, but he is a deep closer so that didn’t seem to hurt his chances. The pace helped his chances, though, as he was making up ground around the far turn. However, he wasn’t aggressively ridden in the stretch with little traffic and just ran evenly. D. Davis rode him to a victory in his previous start so this one was a puzzler.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Necromancer was cabable of.  We expected that if Necromancer gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Necromancer performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Necromancer last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Necromancer next start.  If Necromancer appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Necromancer will dominate the race.
