Runninwiththeboyz: Collared the Favorite Late to Win Going Away

Four year old filly for Jeff Mullins made our Horses to Watch list once again with a strong performance on Friday, in a starter allowance race, non winners twice at five and a half on the turf. Off at 4/1 in a 10 horse field, she broke well under Hector Berrios and quickly was taken over to the rail to save ground from the six hole. She stayed on the fence just 3 back of the leaders, found a seam at the top of the stretch, quickly burst through it and collared the favorite late to win going away. Her gallop out was strong to suggest two turns will be no problem. This was a sharp ride by the under rated Berrios, who is an outstanding turf rider. Up the ladder for this fast improving filly.
