How to handicap 2011 Breeders' Cup Classic

Pace Pals are the only icon based visual handicapping system suitable for all handicappers, novice or veteran.

With the use of the QUICK START GUIDE you will be handicapping like a pro in minutes.  You will SEE the pace of the race, who ran the fastest last race, which run styles are successful at today's distance and surface, which posts win at the distance and who are the top trainers and jockeys.  NOT A MAZE OF NUMBERS...visually you'll understand the basics of handicapping.

Pace Pals Analysis is a visual representation of how the horses in each race preferred to run their races. All handicappers know that lone speed is dangerous (ie: Intercontinental in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf - she jumped off the page as the only "RABBIT" in the field).

Anytime a horse is allowed to run his race unopposed it is dangerous. Also, when there are multiple horses with similar running styles there is good chance they will hinder each other's chances.  The pace of the race (how many horses like to run on the lead or come from behind) is instantly understood by newcomers or veterans.

At the bottom of each column is historical data on how each running style has fared at that distance and surface. These stats are helpful to determine if a horse's normal running style fits the winning profile for the distance/surface.

How can you tell if your horse is a good bet? have to make a 100% Betting Line--only Pace Pals gives you a line for every horse in the race!

100% Betting Line on the full handicap: Maybe the most valuable feature of PacePals. All any handicapper can do is determine what he feels each horse's chances of winning is, then look for overlays. Because 15% is taken out of each wager the Tote Board displays odds at 115%. You must be 15% better than the public to win in the long run. Making a betting line allows you to bet overlays without the gut wrenching experience of "I picked this horse, but his odds are too low...but if I don't bet him I'll be upset." The betting line makes it easy, if the horse is below your odds ---decision made--- it isn't worth a straight bet, but may be used in exotics with other overlays.

Bet all double overlays, even a 15-1 that is 30-1...these are the kind of horses that lead to monster payoffs.

Good Luck, Craig Peterson, President PacePals, Inc.
